Roger's Ladder

This year sure went fast! Here's the plan for the Classic:
Tuesday 10/5- To enable us to pit together we need to go in as group. We'll meet at State St. and Hwy 16 at 9:30 am. Then simply head in as a group and set up camp.
Wednesday 10/6- Here's where we beat the heck out of our 'buddies' then get to run for the trailer. Also we will be having a potluck. Bring something to eat for all to share. Contact Sandy or Big John for more info.

New T-Shirt Design

Some of you may have noticed the T-shirts Chet and I were sporting at the races this Friday. Our daughter, Melissa, surprised her dad with the T-shirt as a gift. The t-shirt pocket logo and back image were designed by Melissa's friend, Craig Stinchcomb, an artist from the Ft. Meyers, Florida area. Melissa and Craig have put together a price list for anyone who would like to purchase a shirt or cold drink "Koozie". Those of you wishing to, please contact Kathleen Lee.

(I know it's hard to read, but it you will highlight the text in the shaded areas it will be easier. Sorry about that)

Fortunes and Misfortunes of Racing!

I received an email from Ken Windley this morning...

"Nice email! On another note, most of you know that after winning round 1 Friday night, a valve dropped in the #4 cylinder of my Mopar, most likely ending my season.

On Saturday however, I received a phone call from Kyle Siepel and Peter Biondo announcing that I had won a brand new 2010 Racetech 245" Swing Arm Top Dragster chassis. A team racing at Bristol loaded it up for me since they plan to run at the Ignitor this week. So, if things work out right, I should have some pretty good trades going on with some local engine builders and be right back in the drivers seat. Nice job last week everyone!

Ken"

That's great, Ken! We certainly do hope to see you back on the track!
